What will my donation support?

Big Apple Circus Clown CareDonations that are not designated for a specific purpose support patient care at Children's National Medical Center in a number of ways. That can include doctors’ and nurses’ salaries, medical equipment, family support, care for a patient who is uninsured or underinsured, and special services that can put a smile on a kid’s face like art therapy or a visit from our Big Apple Circus Clown Care Unit.

Can I designate my gift for a specific purpose?

Yes. You may indicate your area of interest on the donation form.

Can I make a gift in honor or in memory of someone?
Yes, our donation form has a space for this information.

Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes. Children's National Medical Center is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, which means your donation is tax-deductible to the full extent provided by law.

Can I make an anonymous gift?

Yes. If you indicate that you want to make your gift anonymously, we will honor that request. You can select that option on our donation form.

Can I give through the United Way or the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC)?

Yes! Our CFC code is 56509, and our United Way code is 8188. Please let the foundation know that you’ve designated your gift to Children’s National so we can acknowledge your gift and provide you with a receipt.
