Hyundai dealers, together with Hyundai Motor America, gives added meaning to its business by working to find a cure for childhood cancer—a battle the company has been fighting since 1998. In 2004, Hyundai established the "Hope on Wheels" tour to benefit pediatric cancer institutions throughout the U.S. In 2005, Hyundai partnered with CureSearch National Childhood Cancer Foundation to raise awareness and funds for this cause. To date, Hyundai has raised $14 million and counting.

Through Hyundai's support, Children’s National is helping children and their families to experience a greater level of normalcy throughout the process of treatment and, where possible, recovery. Services offered to families include information on accessing needed school services, a newly-developed "Quick Tips" sheet and a resource library. Parents also have opportunities to participate in short-term educational and coaching sessions to plan appropriate educational interventions for children during their stay in the hospital and at home during recovery or follow-up. In addition, a resource handbook developed by center staff will help to ensure that this valuable information will be available to future families and staff.
