Children's National Medical Center is committed to your right to privacy, and to maintaining the highest level of security for credit card transactions. Below are answers to commonly asked questions:

Is it safe to give online?

Absolutely. Children's Hospital Foundation is grateful for the donations that help us continue our valuable work. It is very important to us that your personal information remain secure. When you donate to the foundation online, your credit card information is secured by a reputable security company. Also, your credit card number is used only for that particular transaction and is not stored.

You will also notice in your web site address bar that the domain name starts with an "https" when you are on our donation pages. This means that information entered on those pages is encrypted for your security. This actually makes it more secure than using a credit card in physical form at a store, for example. If you have any questions regarding the security of your credit card donation online, please e-mail us at foundation@cnmc.org

What will the Children’s Hospital Foundation do with my personal information?

We use your information primarily to credit you correctly for your gift. Information contained in our records is used only to support the work of Children’s National Medical Center and the Children’s Hospital Foundation. We do not sell, rent, or lend the email addresses of our subscribers or donors.

How do I update my mailing address, email, or unsubscribe from communications?

You can unsubscribe from emails, review, make changes or corrections to your personal information online or by calling 301-565-8500 and asking for Kevin McFadgen. You may opt-out of our emails at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe or remove link located at the bottom of all our email communications.

Please call us if you have any further questions. We are here to address any questions you have.
