We are walking in honor of Kasey Zachmann, who has been battling medulloblastoma for the past 2 years. Kasey is a compassionate, smart, creative 8-year-old who wants to be a chef when she grows up. She loves music (especially Gwen Stefani and The Lumineers), art, dance, Legos, and spending time with her family, especially her little sister Zara.
Medulloblastoma is an aggressive brain cancer, and we need more funding to help find a cure for kids like Kasey! Kasey is about to start her 3rd clinical trial in hopes of finally getting rid of this terrible disease, but the reality is we need more and better treatment options. We are in a race against time and appreciate anything you can do to help us win this race! All donations to Team KVZ will go directly to the Neuro Oncology Discovery Fund at Children’s National.
