Dear Friends and Family,

We are so excited to participate in the Race for Every Child because we want to give back and make a difference for kids. Our family learned first-hand what a remarkable institution Children's National Hospital is for our community, and how lucky we are to have it in our backyard when our 9-year-old son Oliver had open heart surgery there last winter.  Oliver received exquisite care from an entire team of doctors, surgeons, nurses, and medical staff and we could not be more grateful.

We would love for you to join our team, The Imperfect Hearts, and participate in the race on Saturday, October 21st.  If you cannot join us in person, but would still like to donate on our page, you power groundbreaking research and world-class care for Children's National Hospital patients and their families.  The funds from our race page are being dedicated to the Cardiac Surgery Center, which provided such excellent care for our Oliver, and will help fund research and cutting-edge pediatric surgery.
