I am participating virtually in the Race for Every Child because I want to make a difference for kids.  I've joined the Brain Tumor Trouncers team to support the doctors who have supported Nathan and our family since October 1999. Why virtually this year?  Well, it  conflicts with Sophia's wedding!

Funds raised by the Brain Tumor Trouncers help to bring cutting edge clinical trials and new treatment options to kids with brain tumors.  Opening and running these clinical trials requires a lot of specialized people to manage the regulatory steps, the correlative biology studies, the drug processing & dispensing, the data gathering and entry, the event and outcome reporting and to just generally help families navigate the complexity of clinical research.
