On January 17, 2014, we welcomed our beautiful daughter Kallie into the world. Due to complications at delivery, she was immediately transported to the NICU at Children’s National Medical Center, where she received the most compassionate and attentive care we could have asked for our beloved daughter. Although Kallie was only with us for 5 short days, her time at Children's National was spent with the love of her family and the support and devotion of the doctors, nurses, and staff in the NICU. We are eternally grateful for the care she received, as well as the support our family was afforded during such a difficult time.
Our experience with Children’s National has inspired us to support this amazing hospital by participating in the Virtual Race for Every Child. Team Kallie is proud to have donated over $50,000 over the past 9 years of participating in this 5k Walk/Run and Kids Dash. Your tax deductible donation to Team Kallie helps CNMC provide world-class medical care to children in our community, regardless of their family’s ability to pay.
