My cousin's daughter, Kasey, continues to receive treatment for brain cancer at Children's National Hospital. Kasey was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma in the summer of 2021 and over the last three years, has had 10 surgeries, countless chemo infusions and 45 radiation sessions. 

Kasey sings Gwen Stefani at the top of her lungs, is eagerly awaiting the new Wicked movie this November, and is an expert at freeze dance. She is the best older sister and the most thoughtful big cousin to her many, many, many (emphasis on many) little cousins, including my daughter Elle. 

She continues to fight with bravery and strength no 9-year-old should need to have. 

This October, my family and I are walking in support of and raising money for Team KVZ to help find a cure for Kasey and other kids like her.
