My family is running with Team KVZ in the Race for Every Child alongside the Zachmann family to support our cousin/niece Kasey who was diagnosed with medulloblastoma, a type of brain cancer three years ago.
As a 9 year old, Kasey has spent the last 3 years undergoing surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy. She continues to undergo treatment on a regular basis with the hope of finding a cure. Kasey is a big sister to her 7 year old sister Zara and the oldest of a BIG group of little cousins. She loves singing and dancing, loves Gwen Stefani, and is a very talented artist who also enjoys cooking!
Kasey has been forced into the kind of fight, bravery, courage, and strength that no 9 year old should have to endure.
Kasey, in addition to countless other children are faced with fighting this disease when research is severely underfunded. However together, we can make a difference. Every donation can make a difference. This is a cause that is very personal to our family and we will continue to fight to raise the funds and build awareness to what these children and their families are going through.
Please consider making a donation to this cause. There certainly isn't a more worthy cause than curing pediatric brain cancer. No donation is too small!
