Three years ago, Kasey's world changed when she was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma, as aggressive brain cancer. Since then, Kasey has gone through countless treatments-10 surgeries, 45+ radiation sessions, chemo, and even three clinical trials which unfortunately didn't work. As Kasey keeps fighting, so is our family. 

At just 9 years old, Kasey's already been through more than most people experience in a lifetime. But despite everything, she still dreams big. She wants to be a chef when she grows up, loves dancing to her favorite music, and spends her time building Legos and hanging out with her little sister, Zara. 

To honor Kasey’s  journey, I’m aiming to raise $1,000 for Team KVZ in the 2024 Race for Every Child. This money will go directly to the Neuro Oncology Discovery Fund at Children’s National, supporting crucial research and new treatments for kids like Kasey who desperately need more options.
