I am participating in the Race for Every Child because I want to make a difference for kids. When you donate on my page, you power groundbreaking research and world-class care for Children’s National Hospital patients and their families.  

This fundraiser is personal for my family.  My niece's son Reed has been battling brain cancer for 2-1/2 years.   Even with all the invasive treatments and blood draws, Reed remains a sunny 6-1/2 year old.   He has shown enormous courage in this fight.   It is time for all of us to step up to support the children who suffer from this horrible disease.
