I am participating in the Race for Every Child because I want to make a difference for kids.
As some of you may know our daughter Amariah was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome. Hypoplastic left heart syndrome is a rare congenital heart defect in which the left side of the heart is severely underdeveloped and incapable of supporting the systemic circulation. Amariah has had a series of open heart surgeries since birth and is expected to have more surgeries and intervention through out her life span. Children's hospital has been nothing but amazing to our daughter since the day she was born. Thank you to the amazing doctors and nurses who go the extra mile to take care of every child that is seen at Children's. If you find it in your heart to join us or donate to this great team of doctors you will be helping make a difference in a child's life.
When you donate on my page, you power groundbreaking research and world-class care for Children's National Hospital patients and their families.
Thank you for joining me to help children grow up stronger!
