I am participating in the Race for Every Child because I want others to receive the same quality care that has benefitted my family. 

This summer, my daughter was diagnosed with a rare liver disease and underwent surgery at just three weeks old. I am immeasurably grateful for the team of doctors and nurses at Children's National who provided her expert care, and who continue to monitor her progress. Participating in this race is one way of saying thank you.
