Welcome to our team fundraising page to benefit the Race for Every Child 2024! Children’s National is always there for our kids, our families and our community.
We would love for you to join us on October 19th at the Race in Freedom Plaza in Washington, DC, join us virtually for a fun walk or run from anywhere around the world, or just donate to a great cause!
This year, our funds will benefit the amazing work of our beloved cardiologist, Dr. Craig Sable. Dr. Sable's work focuses on the prevention and treatment of Rheumatic Heart Disease, which affects more than 40 million people around the globe and accounts for nearly 300,000 deaths annually. With the support of Team Jocelyn, Dr. Sable and his team continue to expand international advocacy-based collaborations, treat children with heart disease, and contribute to research that promises to improve treatment for children with, or at risk of, rheumatic heart disease around the world.
With support from philanthropy, including Team Jocelyn, Dr. Sable and team have led two landmark studies to combat RHD.
