Welcome to our team fundraising page to benefit the 2024 Race for Every Child! In June 2022, Reed was diagnosed with a grade 4 glioma, an aggressive type of brain tumor. Since that time, he has gone through 4 surgeries, 2 rounds of radiation, thousands of pills of oral chemotherapy, hundreds of blood draws, and has spent a countless number of hours at Children’s National Hospital.

His joy, optimism, and resilience despite all he is going through never cease to amaze us. That is in large part because of the phenomenal treatment team he has. The providers at Children’s are truly special people and we are grateful for all they do.
