Welcome to the team page for our Race for Every Child 2024 team, "Ready, Set, Cope!"
Our Ready, Set, Cope! team is raising funds to bring expert psychosocial services to children being treated by oncology, hematology, and blood and marrow transplant teams at Children's National Hospital.
Funds raised will go towards helping ensure that all children with cancer, sickle cell disease, and other hematologic illnesses have access to board-certified art therapists and music therapists, as well as school liaisons and teachers in the hospital. Insurance companies don't reimburse for these services, but we know that they are critical to supporting families throughout their healthcare journeys.
