I am participating in the Race for Every Child in memory of my son, Ezra. On January 8th 2024, Ezra was delivered via emergency c-section and was immediately medevaced to Children’s National Hospital. He stayed in the NICU for 27 days before peacefully passing away from a severe case of hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy (HIE). Ezra's nurses and staff provided amazing care and we are forever grateful for them.
